Please keep in mind that not all rules are listed here. We reserve the right to edit this page without notification. This being a semi-serious role play server, we do not enforce strict role play regarding OOC and /me. However, we do require that players follow NLR, FearRP, and role play their job/character accurately. You may choose to skip over these rules, but bear in mind that we do not accept “I didn’t know that was a rule” as an excuse, and you may suffer the consequences.

General Rules:

The majority of the Dark Matter Semi-Serious Rules apply here, especially the common ones such as no RDM, no prop block, prop kill, yada yada. However, there are some exceptions, as will be discussed soon.

Here are the most important/major rules:

1. Do NOT spawn camp! Seriously! There will be nukes launched if you spawn camp. Read the signs that state that it is a spawn, don't even come 100 ft near it. If you're sniping people as they cross the line of their spawn, even if you're at a long distance, expect to get a nuke dropped on your ass. So, don't camp/build at your own spawn/other teams spawn.

2. Don't overdo it with props. This isn't a build server. Don't expect to build magnificent castles and not expect them to get shot up/blown up. You should be building for defensive purposes.

Basing Rules:

  - No hiding or making keypads invisible. They must be easily seen.

  - No welding prop doors.

  - You may have one fading door per entrance to a base. For example, you can have a front and back fading door, but you cannot put two in a row to make it take longer for thieves to crack their way in. Fading doors must be linked to an in game keypad and not to be operated by your keyboard.

  - Fading doors cannot be against locked door, making it impossible to crack the fading door then lock pick in.

  - You may not use more than one keypad for one door to distract thieves or others trying to break in.

  - Fading doors last at least 6 seconds, and have a keypad for the door which easily accessible (not obscured in anyway, or made to make only crack-able from one angle.

  - When basing, no using props which allow the player to be shot at from inside the base, while making it impossible for him to shoot back.

  - Must have at least 1 clearly visible entrance. Do not obstruct it or make it dark/hard to see.

  - You may NOT KOS unless you have a KOS line. Can only defend your property.

  - You cannot claim a large portion of the map or large buildings without admin approval.

  - You may NOT have bases with no-collided, or walk-through props (except for aesthetic purposes).

How to play:

1. Combat:
- This is a Team Death Match RP (War) server. It's basically Criminals versus Cops, with some extras mixed in.
- Cops are allowed to KOS Criminals, visa versa.
- NO ONE is allowed to KOS Neutrals, visa versa.
- Criminals/AnCo can do criminaly things to the Neutrals, such as raiding, stealing, mugging, etc. Neutrals can fight back/retaliate only if provoked (Criminals/AnCo cannot steal from players of their own side, Ex. Criminals stealing from other Criminals, etc)
- AnCo related jobs are allowed to KOS Cops AND Criminals. Cops and Criminals are allowed to KOS AnCo related jobs.

2. New Life Rule:
- THERE IS NO NLR. You do not have to "pretend" to start a new life. You can go back to the spot you died and start mowing down everyone and mass revenge kill. That's expected.

Each job has a symbol in front of the job name to symbolize which category it belongs in.

Jobs with a + means it's a Government/Cop job. (These jobs are all Dark Blue)
These jobs are expected to defend Neutrals that are not working with the Criminals and defend the city.

Jobs with a - means it's a Criminal job. (These jobs are all Dark Red)
These jobs are expected to attack the City and cause chaos among the Neutrals by raiding/stealing from them.

Jobs with a @ means it's an AnCo job. (These jobs are all Dark Green)
These jobs are expected to take over the city killing Cops and Criminals with no discrimination to bring about a new world order.
