Server Youtube Video Contest

Reward will most likely be 1 week VIP for the winner. If the video is just THAT GOOD then other rewards may be given such as, a custom forum title/rank, or even as much as a 1 month VIP pass. If the winner already has VIP, they may choose to give it away or sell it off to someone. Basically it's like a pass/card for 1 week VIP.

Video rules:
May not be too short or too long.
Must relate to the server.
No strings attached otherwise.

Winner will be decided upon the following - effort, entertainment, and quality.

The winners video will also be advertised on the server.

Any idea when this competition ends? I may have an idea, but it'll take some time.

I still have no idea how to upload my demos. I have a free version of bandicam, so it will have watermark... I have a good idea, but I have no idea how to start.

This will end when we have a winner or decide to do something else instead. For now this will stay open until at least a few videos pop up.

I can give you some I just recorded out of the blue.

My software doesnt like gmod, so it doesnt pick up the game sound, but video is fine so yeah...

Oh shut up about my black borders! It was either that, or it being so blurred that you cant veen read the ammo counter. I did invest in two 4 TB hard drives, and I can now save in much better quality. I will have more DarkMatter Let's Plays by Sunday.

Figure out how to get high quality while maintaining like a. 16:9 aspect ratio.. Look at how to record high setting for fraps on youtube. But I can't wait anyway! I could help edit some stuff and make it look more cinematic and shit. I have a few good background tracks I could add.

Ion, I have to make sure it just wasn't shitty because of watching it on my ipad, if that is the case, you are good. If not, it was still shitty and wil die at the gallows talking about how shitty the quality was.

I know I shouldn't give advice, but guys wanting to do this, I recommend Using Dxtory. Amazing high quality software for recording which takes .12 of internal game memory to record, which equals an extremity less of lag due to recording! Very good I use it!
